Why do you love me? I ask you again.

“I think your wonderful. You are just the way I wanted you to be.
I know that you are not perfect, but I love you, can’t you see?
I know all your hidden feelings, joys, heartaches and sorrows,
I am Your Saviour and your King, I will help you face all your tomorrows,
So much I want you to do, to perfect My Will,
Sometimes you get impatient and I just need you to be still.
You haven’t always came to me with actions that you would take,
I was forced to change my plans for you, my heart surely did break.
There are people out among you, that I love so very much too,
I needed you to tell them about me, I want them in heaven, along with you.
So many people who would have crossed in your way,
I had to send someone else to share with them, that their debt did I also pay.
I’m sorry to say, some of them died, and I forever lost my children, my friends,
I loved all of them, I always will, But they are forever tormented, and it will never end.
I forgive you, when you’ve strayed, for I know you are sometimes weak,
I will always wipe each tear from your cheek,
Even when your actions have caused you to suffer much pain,
I AM your Redeemer, I am your sunshine after the rain.
I looked down thru time, and smiled because I saw you,
I knew you could never make it to me, I knew what I had to do.
I sent my only Son, he lived on earth, underneath the same blue sky,
My perfect Son was all I could accept for payment, so He had to die.
When you accepted Him, all of heaven did greatly rejoice
To see you take Jesus as your Saviour uttering your prayer in a small voice.
I now am your Potter, and you are my clay,
You may break, or change form, but trust in me, you will be new each day.
Ask it of me, and I will throw your faults as far as the east is from the west,
Try harder this time, after all I have done for you, don’t I deserve your best?
I love you for always, can’t you see?
I will make you over, if you will abide in me.
I know you will mess up again, and that is okay,
I will always be here for you whether its night or day.
Leave all your mistakes and worries here with me,
I will trade your burdens for my peace, you will see,
So if you wonder if I love you.
Hold fast to this because it’s forever true,
I am your God, and thru Jesus, my love I did send,
My love is unconditional, it will never know an end.
